Riziki Swahili Grill

 


Finally made my way out to Riziki Swahili Grill as a little treat before winter break. I had the chapati with goat curry and spinach. I was very excited for this but I won't lie it was not very good. The curry was decent but not a ton of flavor or seasoning on the neat. The chapati was probably the best thing but it was just bread. The spinach had some coconut water or something in it and had a very interesting taste. It was not for me. 
Started with a beef sambusa. Solid with the sauce. 
Ginger drink of course. Great.

Columbus Asian Festival

  Today we are at the Columbus Asian Festival where we had the opportunity to get some Lao food. This was great as there are no Lao restaurants in Columbus. Went with Aiden and Kai and we had a grand time. From the Laos vendor we got some authentic chicken wings. These were great. I wish I could have tried more stuff at the festival but it was cash only and I was lacking. I got a Kona Ice but who cares.

Barroluco: One Year Anniversary

We made it. One whole year of the GBF page. I stopped the reviews at one point but now they're back on this blog. Man, very surreal for me. We brought it back to where it all started at Barroluco downtown to go back and get that carne asada. I threw that chimichurri on it with a classic mandarin jarrito as well. Decent steak, well cooked but not a great cut. A bit pricy too. Still, glad I could come back to my roots for this achievment. Thank you all. Shoutout to Manu
