London, England
My first time across the pond. A very interesting experience.
My first time having airplane food. Was honestly not bad.
Cool thing at our hotel. A bunch of cool figurines, there was like Star Wars and other stuff too.
Westminster Abbey. Just like any other old church I've ever seen.
London Eye. One big ferris wheel.
Nelson's Column. Idk just walked by it
Piccadilly Circus during the day. Supposed to be London's Times Square but this jawn is like one block.
Indian for the first night at Masala Zone in Piccadilly Circus. A rather authentic mango lassi
Started with chicken 65 and pani puri. Lots of flavor
Probably the best butter chicken I've had. I enjoyed very much
Night by the time we were done with dinner. Looked cooler at night.
Messi figure statue at the Piccadilly Hard Rock. I got a shirt with this on it, pretty cool.
Phone in my hotel turlet.
British Fanta. Literally just what if we made Fanta worse
My breakfast of scones, croissants, pancakes, and OJ. Who the hell made scones they taste like pinecones.
Stonehenge the next day. I actually stand by it being worth visiting. I thought it was very cool.
Sausage roll copped at Stonehenge. Alright.
Cool thing at my hotel restaurant.
Proper fish and chips. Curry sauce is different than I thought. Actually good fish tho
Wimbledon scorebord.
Centre court at Wimbledon. Oh my goodness was this anticlimactic. Looks like any tennis stadium ever. Miami Open was better I'm sorry.
First time trying Bahraini food and maybe one of the only places outside of Bahrain you can find it at Villa Mamas London in Chelsea. Had the Bahraini chicken masli and this was a stunner. I thought it would be basic chicken and rice but this was bussin. Even some nuts or raisins or something in it but it didn't even matter. Had some hummus too, this was fire.
Shoutout to the founder of Villa Mama's, Roaya Saleh. Yeah there are essentially no Bahraini celebrities.
Natural History Museum the next day. Probably the most famous item there.
Charles Darwin. Not a fan
Another dinosaur cool
English breakfast at Harrod's. I will not say proper, but I felt like I could cross it off my list. It was alright.
Now that's a proper Nando's. The mac and cheese was good. The peri-peri chips were great for any bite that had seasoning on it, idk why they don't just put more of it. I feel like this place is essentially a grilled version of Cane's. I had the mild chicken I believe with the hot sauce added on top. Wasn't that spicy. It needed a lot more sauce but when it had enough I liked it a lot. Would have liked the chicken to be thinner too. They just only have diet soda in this country for whatever reason. Coke was like the only thing they actually had a normal version of so that's what I settled with. We had the cheese sticks as well I don't think I took a picture, those bussed.
Shoutout to political beast, Nelson Mandela
The British Museum, now this one was fire. Got to see many Lamassu
Totem pole, definitely stolen (but everything here is stolen, makes for a bit of a dampened experience). Pretty damn cool tho
Easter Island head. Super dope. How did they even get this and why
Samurai armor.
Some monkey tapestry
Los tigres.
Thought this was cool too. Asia section was awesome
They had a billion pieces of china
Idk what this is. No arms tho
This made me lol
What the museum looked like
Sandwich from the Black Pig at Borough Market. Parmesan cheese on top, pork, two different sauces, slaw, and super freakin bussin.
London Bridge. Namesake
The shard. Tall.
Tower Bridge
Idk cool building
Chinatown.
Roast pork and red bean buns. Pork was awful, didn't like the red bean that much either. Leave the Chinese to the States, thanks
A beef wellington to end the trip at one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. Glad I experienced it, but way overpriced and not much different than a regular steak because the breading falls off all the time.
Shoutout to all of these London/England legends. David Beckam, Billy Idol, my look alike Idris Elba, Pinkpantheress, 21 Savage (lol), and wtf Tom Holland? Man I don't wanna talk to yo
