Our first Jamaican review on the page with some classic jerk chicken with rice and peas and mac and cheese from Ena's. I finally braced myself to make the trip out to Linden. Of course there was construction so I had to walk like 10 mins through debris and broken glass just to get this food. They say this is the best Caribbean food in Cbus, Cbus must not have great Caribbean food then. Not to be a hater as this is a staple, but I was not impressed. I will hopefully try something better next time but the chicken was just not very good to me. I don't like rice and peas but I had to try it. The mac and cheese was alright.
This ginger beer lowkey saved the day for me because it was great. I kind of accidentally ordered the homemade one but I'm glad I did. It is super strong and almost feels like it's supposed to be medicine or something but I rated it. Always love Jamaican ginger drinks.
