Dallas, TX
First time in Texas, about what I expected. Good food, southern people, and the Cowboys losing.
The view from our lunch.Of course had to get some Texas bbq. We went to Terry Black's that is supposed to be some of the best in the state. I had the brisket, pork ribs, mac and cheese, and a sweet tea. The brisket was good, and the pork ribs were great. That mac and cheese was something else tho so good. The true spotlight was the bbq sauces that were at the table that you could add, the sweet one was amazing. Not really a sweet tea guy but I had to for this environment. Great bbq, still left some to be desired for all of the hype Texas bbq has. I've heard Austin has the best, hopefully I will go at some point.
Cool thing I saw walking.
Cool buildings.
Me in line for some authentic tacos at Taqueria El Si Hay. We were the only gringos
My delectable meal. One beef tongue and one beef cheek taco with cilantro and onion. Some spicy salsa as well, delicious. A Mexican Coke to pair with it of course, all amazing.
Idk what that building is but I know it is famous for Dallas
The exact place where JFK got shot.
Cool road.
AT&T. Here we go.
Our seats were awesome.
We had some sort of behind the scenes thing with our tickets. Saw Jerry. I could have gone without that
Ever heard of sushi at a football game. Surf and turf roll, really good for stadium sushi.
Random Mexican guy I talked to for the whole game. Sorry dad, the Lions did not give you the warmest of welcomes for your first Cowboys game.
Morton's for dinner. Talked some CFB with our waiter, cool night. Had a steak with bernaise sauce, solid. Had to get some steak in Texas.
